Marissa and Dean were obviously in love [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and Marissa had a great sense of style. After an exhausting search for venues, and not finding what they felt was really “them” they realized they really just wanted to get married where they live, on little Fox Island, WA. We created a color palette of “eucalyptus” a silvery/green/blue color [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], warm grey and accents of burnt orange (to represent the Northwest water, sky, and occasional bursts of sun). Marissa and Dean gathered driftwood that was used in the centerpieces, and built their chuppah themselves out of driftwood pieces.It was so beautiful and organic in form, all we added was a bit of fabric over the top to “house” them as is tradition [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and adorn the corners with some beach grass and a few blooms. We flanked the aisle with old gray benches for guests, and had lanterns with glowing candles next to each bench. The ceremony was outside in a pavilion-like structure. We draped the walls and ceiling (to hide the giant ships wheels and emblems)!?
